Office 365 (O365) for Mobile Devices available for MIT Community

May 7, 2015

Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) is pleased to announce the availability of the Office 365 (O365) Mobile platform to the MIT community.

Office Mobile apps let you create, edit, view, and print Office documents (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) from your mobile device. With an O365 license and the recent integration of Dropbox Business, you can store and share files on your mobile device - iPad, iPhone, Android phones or tablets - from Dropbox or access Dropbox from the Office Mobile apps. (Note: Mobile Dropbox integration for Windows phones and tablets is expected this summer).

Office Mobile apps are available for download free of charge, for use with both business and personal Dropbox accounts. iOS users can download Office Mobile apps from the App store, Android users from Google Play, and Windows users from the Windows store.

IS&T will be evaluating other O365 services in the future.

For more information and to get started using Office on your mobile device, see the Office 365 Mobile Platform at MIT page.
